This manual has been prepared to aid turfgrass managers in developing efficient weed management programs. It comprises herbicide recommendations that may undergo modifications at any given time. These recommendations should be viewed solely as guidance. The use of brand names or trademarks aims to enhance clarity and provide information without insinuating the superiority of a product over others with similar suitable compositions. It does not offer a guarantee or warranty on the quality of a product.

Constant review and revision of herbicide labels take place regularly. The herbicides listed were registered for their designated use at the time this manual was created. In the event that the registration or specified use of a herbicide is revoked before this manual is revised, the University of Tennessee would no longer recommend that herbicide. Current information on herbicide effectiveness can be found on the Tennessee Turf Weeds website.

It is imperative that herbicides are used strictly in accordance with the product label; failure to do so constitutes a violation of federal law. Before selecting, purchasing, transporting, storing, or applying a herbicide, always carefully read and understand the product label directions and precautions.
